ARMCandy's History
Who Is ARMCandy Photography?
Long before there was an ARMCandy Photography, there was a 12-year-old girl who knew exactly what she wanted to be.
I wanted to be a photographer.
Not just someone who took pretty pictures—I wanted to tell stories. I dreamed of working for National Geographic, traveling the world, meeting people, seeing places I had only imagined, and capturing the kind of moments that made someone stop and feel something.
Life, of course, had other plans.
But that little girl with a camera never really went away.
Today, ARMCandy Photography is my way of bringing that dream to life in a different way. I may not be photographing the far corners of the world for National Geographic, but I get to photograph something just as important to me:
You.
Your growing family.
Your pregnancy.
Your senior year.
Your confidence.
Your love story.
Your motorcycle.
Your music.
Your milestones.
Your beautifully messy, wonderfully imperfect life.
I photograph maternity, families, seniors, boudoir, motorcycles, and music events—and I love that my work doesn't fit into one little box.
Because neither do people.
I'm not interested in making everyone look the same. I'm interested in finding what makes you, you and creating photographs that feel like your story.
I want you to laugh. I want you to move. I want you to forget the camera is there. I want to catch the little things—the look between two people, the crooked smile, the wind in your hair, the hands that have held each other through everything, the confidence you didn't realize you had.And when it comes to boudoir, I have one rule I won't compromise on:I don't change your body.I won't make you smaller, reshape you, erase the things that make you recognizable, or turn you into someone else. I'll enhance the beauty that's already there—beautiful skin, gorgeous eyes, amazing hair, your lips, your light—but you remain you.Because photography, to me, isn't about creating a perfect version of someone.
It's about showing them how beautiful their real version already is.
So who is ARMCandy?
I'm a mom.
I'm a wife.
I'm a storyteller.
I'm a memory keeper.
I'm the girl who dreamed of National Geographic at 12.
I'm the woman who still gets excited when she gets behind a camera.
And I'm probably going to hype you up way more than you expected.
You bring your story. I'll bring the camera.
Let's make something you'll want to remember.
